Got a call yesterday that they can no longer see video, apparently due to a Safari update. A quick googling reveals chatter discussing the same issue on Reddit and Ipcamtalk, but no real solution. V12 update just came out and apparently killed NPAPI and non Apple Store plug ins. Connecting to the camera in Safari seems to be the only way to configure the various settings for the Hikvision camera. It woudl be great if Live View worked while configuring the camera. Meatsuit, yes, I have the WebVideoPlugin enabled. Safari Preferences Websites Plug-ins The box next to WebVideoPlugin is checked. Safari 13 plugin? I think the newest Version of ivms is not compatible to newest Apple OS. But never tried. I just upgraded my Hikvision.
Now, if you head over to you will be able to download the Mac OS Plug-in. Installation is fairly straightforward. Once you have installed the plug in, you should be able to view your cameras within safari. Make sure you have 'Webcomponents' selected from the plug-in list though. I have tried iVMS4200 - crashes every thime Sea Monkey - Live view not working Never managed to get safari or Firefox - even with plugins - but they're totally out of the running now. Any genius that has cracked the Hikvision/Mac mystery please help!!!!!
